John & Rachel Hinds
John’s grandfather bought Beech Farm in the 1960s and his father Phil Hinds took over in the early 80s and continues to run the farm to the present day. We mainly have beef cattle and the odd horse, and a small acreage of corn is grown for the winter ration. In all Beech Farm is 180 acres in size.
Other enterprises on the farm include a coarse fishing lake and calf rearing unit. The fishing lake is a relatively new venture which was constructed in 2004.
